RN and PN Nursing Programs at Galen College of Nursing in Louisville

Galen College of Nursing Louisville is focused solely on nursing education for students who want to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs). A Galen education prepares students to become expert nurses who’ll provide direct care to patients in a variety of settings.

As one of the largest private nursing schools in the U.S., Galen helps its students become high quality healthcare providers ready to enter the workforce as professional nurses. And when they graduate, they will be well prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).

We encourage prospective nursing students to schedule an appointment with an Admissions Representative to discuss Galen’s nursing programs and tour the nursing school. Our personalized approach allows us to get to know you and for you to have a first hand experience in our educational setting.

Galen offers a variety of options to fit your life, including daytime Practical and Registered Nursing Bridge Programs, an Evening LPN Program, and online and evening RN classes. Galen's progams include three main components: theory, which involves classroom or online learning; laboratory, including science and clinical simulation; and clinical, in which students learn while working with real patients in real-life healthcare settings.

Galen's Louisville campus offers the following nursing programs:
