Clinical Experiences

As a Galen College of Nursing student, a large portion of your nursing education will be spent not only observing, but also caring for patients in outside facilities such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, physician offices, etc.

You will have experiences in hospitals and other facilities in medical-surgical nursing, maternity, pediatric, mental health nursing, and more.

While at local hospitals and other healthcare facilities, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with not only professional nurses and patients, but patient families as well. You will practice under the supervision of a Galen faculty member.
