Nursing Financial Aid
Nursing Financial Aid from Galen College of Nursing
Students at Galen College of Nursing may be eligible for a wide range of funding to help pay for their nursing education, including Title IV funding programs provided by the United States Department of Education. Additionally, some students may be eligible for nursing student loans and grants for nursing school.
The enrollment processes outlined below are not currently utilized at our Cincinnati campus. Please contact the financial aid office in Cincinnati for information relevant to that location.
As part of the enrollment process, each nursing student will receive the information necessary to process their nursing school financial aid application. This information will usually be delivered via e-mail.
Once financial aid applications and all required documentation is processed, Galen will determine eligibility for financial aid.
After you have reviewed your award letter, you will meet with an enrollment specialist to sign an Enrollment Agreement which secures your enrollment.
Each student must be prepared to pay the following during the enrollment appointment:
- Registration Fee, due and payable upon signing an Enrollment Agreement.
- Background Screening & Reference Check Fee, due and payable upon signing an Enrollment Agreement. The Background Screening & Reference Check is required by many of our clinical site affiliates.
- Students must be able to pay for books and uniforms prior to the first day of class.
Due to the monetary limits of federal aid, these costs are generally an out-of-pocket expense for the nursing student and not covered by financial aid.

Students may apply for a number of different financial aid options to help fund their nursing education, including:

- Federal SEOG Grants
